GBM Environmental Consultants (GBM) has over forty years of experience providing mold consulting and testing services. GBM has performed hundreds of comprehensive and limited mold inspections. These inspections were performed in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. 

GBM has performed project management and air monitoring on mold abatement projects. GBM conducts field sampling of mold air samples utilizing a Buck BioAire Sampling Pump and air-o-cells, conducts visual mold inspections and conducts mold air sampling to verify that mold abatement containments are safe for re-occupancy. GBM conducts bulk mold and mold tape lift sampling to confirm the presence of visible mold. 

GBM has extensive experience conducting visual mold inspections, mold remediation design, mold removal project management and air monitoring. GBM collects comfort parameters (temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulates, and VOCs) utilizing a portable multi-sensor device. GBM conducts moisture mapping of wet drywall utilizing a hand-held moisture meter.  

Undesirable conditions such as odors, occupant perceptions of poor air quality, and visible mold growth are generally indicators of a breach or failure in one or more building systems. Improperly functioning heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and deficiencies in building operation, maintenance design, or construction can contribute to excessive moisture accumulation, building-related health complaints, and indoor mold growth.

GBM writes mold inspection reports and final mold abatement reports, collects photographic documentation for mold inspections and mold abatement projects.
